Maham Choudhri BSc ANutr

Hi everyone, my name is Maham, a London based Nutritionist, registered with the Association for Nutrition (AfN), with a special interest in non-diet, weight inclusive nutrition. 

I work one-to-one with clients focusing on helping them improve their relationship with food and essentially taking them back to a life without diets, food rules and food fear.

Having completed an extensive amount of formal education and training as well having a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition, I am equipped to provide a qualified approach to nutrition and a total dedication to my clients’ needs. 
I deliver only the highest standard of evidence based practice. To ensure I am constantly at the fore of new developments in this field I attend rigorous training on compliance and professional practice. 

Through my academic and continuous professional development I have gained an understanding of how what we eat and drink not only affects our body on the surface but goes beyond this; having an impact on our mental, physical and social well-being. 

I started my career working on various NHS commissioned health management programmes. Through various client interactions it became increasingly obvious that information, or should I say how much misinformation about nutrition was being spread especially through online resources. Whether from ‘influencers’ or diets endorsed by celebrities, or fat shaming claims that thin is healthy being fat isn’t, I wanted to use my knowledge and experience to help others understand that the most important message is that health can be achieved at every size. 

Having experienced first-hand what confusing and conflicting health information online and in the media can have on people, I focus on a non-diet approach to health, taking into account each persons individual biological needs.
